What the hell is JoJo's Bizarre Adventure?


JoJo's Bizarre adventure is a shõnen and seinen manga written and illustrated by Hiroriko Araki (a.k.a japanese Jordi Hurtado)
JoJo was serialized in Weekly Shõnen Jump from 1987 to 2004, after that, it was translated to monthly seinen Ultra Jump, where the story continues. It's one of he overall best-selling manga series filling over 100 volumes (for a total of ~20.000 pages).

Jojo is the longest Shueisha manga series to have not received an animated adaption, it's anime adaptation made its debut in October 6, 2012 (25 years); designed by the animation studio David Prouction. At the moment only Parts 1,2 and 3 have been animated, but Part 4 has been confirmed to be released Aprill 2016.
The franchise has had diverse adaptation in video games, which only 2 had international release; The fighting games Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle.


Part 1 (Phantom Blood) features the fraught and bloody relationship between Dio Brando(villian) and Jonathan Joestar(hero). 
Each part continues with a descendant from Joestar Bloodline
